Save a recipe from another Android app
When a recipe is open in a supported social or browser app:
- Tap the app's Share button.
- Choose Souschef from the Android share sheet.
- You can keep browsing while the import runs in the background. Souschef sends a notification when it finishes.

A short note from the builder
Souschef began as a web portfolio project called Recipe Thief. The original idea was simple: strip away the distractions around an online recipe and keep the ingredients and instructions.
But copying a URL into a website still felt like extra work. Recipes are discovered on phones, and saving one should fit naturally into the mobile share flow. That realization led me to learn React Native and build Souschef as a mobile app that could serve both Android and iOS users. What began as a small project became the recipe keeper I wanted in my own kitchen.
